Social Work Taskforce members named
Members of taskforce set up to review social work practice published by DCSF
Ed Balls, Secretary of State at the DCSF, has announced who will sit on the Social Work Taskforce, set up to review social work practice in the wake of Baby P.
The taskforce aims to “carry out a comprehensive review of frontline social work practice, including training and any barriers social workers face in doing their jobs effectively” and is expected to report back to the Government in Summer 2009.
Interestingly, there is a place on the taskforce for Deidre Sanders, the long standing agony Aunt with the Sun newspaper. The full list is as follows:

Lets do away with child abuse. This is such a sad crime. People need to prosecuted.
