no2abuse link concern

I would like to state that no2abuse whilst it’s content is UK information we have visitors, professionals and survivors of child abuse across the world visit
no2abuse and is not here to cater purely for UK visitors.

I was told because of one link on my site that my site is not suitable for a Baby P group because it has professionals in it and I had to laugh at that. Do people like that have any knowledge of child abuse what so ever? I know that person doesn’t and I am offended by such idiocy and we both ought to stick to the professions and industry we know

I would also like to stipulate that no2abuse was originally set up for my book which is my experience backed up with 100% proof based on my life in care of social services. Because there was a lack of articles written by survivors and professionals involved in children’s welfare I turned no2abuse to cater for that and to give those who need it a voice. I do NOT get paid to do it, I do NOT make any money from my site, I do NOT get any financial support to run the site and everyone who contributes does it for free. We all spend many hours a day 7 days a week and even work hours when most people are in bed sleeping and we are wide awake working voluntary. All who contribute have experienced abuse, suffered at the hands of social services and others or professionals who are experts in their field which is social services, family courts and child abuse.

I was requested to put the link up to online councellors and will not turn down any links related to abuse or to those helping the abused regardless if they are paid or do it for free. Private councelling is an option every person has a right too if that is the option they choose. I am not going to tell people what methods they choose in recieving or seeking councelling. That is personal choice.

This should not be a concern for any professional on any site

I am not responsible for services outside of no2abuse and as councellors do charge I am not here to critisise them for doing their job as I am not at liberty to tell them to work for free.

If anyone wishes to have a link on no2abuse that is great however this does not make no2abuse reaponsible for their websites or charges.
