Name and Shame of Baby P abusers

By Teresa | 19th Nov 2008 | in

I can not blame the public for wanting to expose Baby P’s abusers because it is truly shocking what he suffered but I do blame the judge for not specifying a valid reason for that decision. I know the reason those two are not to be named although I didn’t know until I named them and removed it urgently. It was up for all of half an hour and taken down and only seen by people I know but several public groups had already put it out there anyway and one group on FB were the first to name them and the owner refused to take the names off. I am told by others thats where they got the names from. The judge should of been clearer in his directions and it is very hard to ask people not to name and shame when their names are on lots of websites from last years news websites.

People are sending their names out by text message, email and via websites so any further trials may well see any jury unable to give a fair trial however given the failures in the UK law over the years we are starting to see more and more vigialante attacks which recently left a paedophile murdered.

Given the seriousness of how much paedophilia and the abuse of children has grown and the law does nothing to protect children is there any wonder the public want to start taking things into their own hands. I would imagine someone is likely to get to those two eventually. I am sure they will reap what they sow because the public are now very bitter and lets hope the public who have ignored child abuse because it hasnt affected them (whilst many victims and survivors fight every day to get changes) that the public start actively doing more to prevent the abuse of children.

Don’t sit and forget about it when this has gone quiet and then jump up in ten years time on the next murdered child and scream again. This is not good enough. You either want to see children safe or you dont and because the public ignore abuse this is the end result because the politicians wont listen because the public dont show any interest until something like this happens. If you are one of those who has ignored abuse and sat at home sipping tea and not standing up for children you may not even know then ask yourself, are you helping prevent the abuse of children with your silence?

Unless the law changes and we see justice for children we are likely to see more and more attacks on abusers and more attacks on those who walk away from courts for child porn and other serious crimes to children and judges perhaps need to address their serious failures too because they are the ones who let them go with a slap on the wrists.

Teresa, they will go away for a long time and during that time their stay in HM prisons will not be fun for them at all, they will get hell, no less than their beautiful child got,but what can society do about the people who should just not be having children, who slip through the net with their evil minds. And what to do about the heavy hand of bureaucracy which gets bigger and bigger controlling all our lives, when in fact it is us and communities and neighbours who should be keeping an eye out for disturbed children. I asked a mother yesterday how old her daughter was, as I wanted to buy a scooter for my grandso. She grabbed her child and moved away as if I had been some old lady pervert, what can one do in a society like this and what does it teach the children, nothing but fear. Which is what the government wants us all to feel, then with fear, it can control us all.

Pam your right and the public, families and friends need to be more vigilante when it comes to children.

But we need to allow children to be children without the fear of God put into them but sadly because the government has allowed a continued growth in child abuse, children are being robbed of their innocent childhood and we as adults need to act on abuse and not sit in silence.

I am not suggesting the public are responsible for the deaths of children but what I am saying is because they sit in silence and ignore the widespread abuse and paedophilia situation that is growing so fast it makes matters much worst because until the public stand up and get counted no one in the government is going to listen.

Its all about votes and the government will act on things when there is a public outrage and we need see the public scream even when they dont read a story in the paper.

They need to get actively involved and anyone starting up groups or things that are about child abuse or murdered children should be forced to go through same legal checks as those working with children because they will inevitably come into contact with children and vunerable adults via those social networks.

These groups will have paedophiles go into them because it’s about child abuse and they know they will find vunerable teens and adults who are distressed.

I call for every group owner to be legally checked and ensure they are suitable because of whats at stake if they are not.
