Sacked. Shame on You Sharon Shoesmith
The head of children’s services Shoesmith caused widespread anger in the light of Baby P’s death
Sharon Shoesmith was sacked with immediate effect and is not to recieve any compensation package and will not receive any payment in lieu of notice
The decision by a panel of councillors was taken today after the Haringey blunders that led to the death of Baby P who was brutely abused and died at the hands of his mother 27, her boyfriend 32 and the lodger Jason Owen 36.
£19,000 of tax payers money was spent on media training to bail out those involved in the Baby P child abuse scandal when it should of been spent on improving the services for children at risk.

More money wasted, How do you do you protect children when money that should have gone on them is spent like this

this does not surprise me and it is purely disgusting to say the least
all those hard working taxpayers working for nothing but to protect the backs of people who can not do their jobs properly
where is the taxpayers alliance when you need them - if they truly want to keep council taxes down why are they not reviewing this?
